Mitochondrial DNA Haplogroup H is the most common mtDNA haplogroup in Europe.  Overall, it's frequency is about 30-40%, but the frequency ranges from about 20% in eastern Europe to about 45% in northwestern Europe to as high as 65% in Iberia (Spain and Portugal).  In the trivia department, Marie Antoinette and Queen Victoria, among many other European nobility, were Haplogroup H.
Because of its high frequency, the H haplogroup has many subclades.  These subclades are largely determined by mutations in the CR (the Coding Region) of your mtDNA, not in the two hypervariable regions (HVR1+HVR2), so merely testing the hypervariable regions will not tell you your Haplogroup H subclade.
So far, we have 23 Danish Demes project members who are some form of Haplogroup H (21 tested at FTDNA plus two tested elsewhere).
